Reservations

We have secured an entire COACH CAR! Your ticket will be paid for as a line item on your registration form as the coach car has been reserved and paid for by your hosts. The C&TRR classic Coach cars offer comfortable padded bench seating. Relax, open your window and take in the fresh Rocky Mountain air. Snacks and beverages are available in the concession car. They encourage us to move about the train and experience the Open-Air Gondola as well as staying in the coach car.

We have secured all the rooms available at the Vista Del Rio Lodge in Chama, NM where we will stay both nights. Room rates are: 2 Queen beds: $115, 1 King bed (very limited availability): $125. The room rate includes breakfast and parking. There are only 18 rooms available so be sure you book soon. We will help find overflow lodging if the Vista Del Rio Lodge is sold out. Make sure to mention the Driving for Kids Group before booking to receive the discounted rate. Individual reservations are allowed to cancel up until 6pm 2 days before arrival so we recommend participants book right away and, if you need to, you can cancel before that date. The discounted rate is subject to availability after August 1, 2022.
